Subject Change To Security Access Request Processing

Effective immediately, requests for security access to any CME On-line systems and the portal will proceed as follows:

 

  1. Clearing Member firm faxes Member Firm On-Line Access Request form, signed by the back-office manager to CME Customer Support Group (CSG) at fax number: 312 338 2626.  You can no longer drop off or pick up security information on the 9th Floor-South Tower. Please make certain to include the e-mail address of the person requesting the access OR their back-office manager.

 

  1. CSG will e-mail the user (or the Back Office Mgr.) with the new user id and/or confirmation that their updated access (another system, like FEC) has been added.  If the request is to RESUME the password, that password must be given over the phone.

 

  1. The user must then call CSG at 312 930 3444 to get their new or resumed password.  CSG will not send passwords via e-mail.  Again, you are no longer expected to come and pick up your user id and password information on 9th Floor-South Tower.  CSG has moved.
